The innagural Pine City Pond Hockey Classic will be held February 8th-10th, 2013 at the Westside Park Pond in Pine City, MN.  It will be an exciting weekend with lots of action packed hockey.  This tournament has been started by a group of local hockey enthusiasts who are looking to make an outstanding community event out of the game they love.  Any profits from the tournament will go back to hockey in the community in some way, shape, or form to ensure hockey sticks around in Pine City!

The tournament has gathered the support of some local businesses as well as some nationally known businesses.  The sponsors so far are: Coor's Light, Ice Hole Schnapps, Bernick's Pepsi, Monster Energy Drinks, Grand Casino Hinckley, and Boa Athletics!  Each player registered will be receiving a "goodie bag"  with coupons to local stores, restaurants, and bars during their stay in Pine City.

The tournament will feature teams in two divisions.  One divison will be a competitive bracket and the other will be a recreational bracket.  It will be a 4-on-4  style tournament with each team being able to roster up to seven skaters of men and women over 18 years old.  Each team is guarenteed three games.  The cost to register a team is $300.   For more specific rules please check out the "Rules" tab.

There are several ways to register your team.  You can do it online via the "Registration" tab at the top of this page, or by visiting the registration table at the Beau Berglund Tournament.

If you are unable to put together a full team there are many that are still looking for players.  Please come Friday night between 5-10pm and we will make sure you are able get on a team.

Games will start at 10:00am Saturday morning.

There will be a DJ at the pond  Saturday night, so be sure to come out for a fun time!
